Flood and Water Damage Protection
Before you have to wade through a pile of bills to fix the damage done by a burst frozen water pipe, seasonal flooding, or sewer back-up, protect your home with a flood detector. Reliance Protectron's monitoring centre will contact you so you can react quickly to prevent impending damage from a flood.

Pipe BurstWater alarms allow for early notification on an impending flood from a burst water pipe, flooding from heavy rain or sewer back up by sending a signal to the monitoring centre when rising or overflowing water is sensed.  In turn, the monitoring centre will contact you allowing you to take action before expensive damage occurs.  If you have a sump pump in your home, special water detectors are available for them to alert you when water levels in the sump pit rise above a certain level.

Reliance Protectron authorized dealers can install water alarms in the following locations to ensure flood protection:

  • Under the bathroom sink;
  • Around the water heater;
  • Sump pump;
  • Basement;
  • Laundry room; or
  • Near any water source.
