Fire is a dangerous intruder. But with our monitored smoke detectors, you can protect your family and home from injury and loss due to fire and smoke damage.  When the monitoring centre receives a signal your fire alarm system, they will notify fire and rescue crews for immediate dispatch.

When smoke or extreme heat (see temperature sensor) is detected, a signal is sent from your fire alarm system to the monitoring centre and the siren in your home will be triggered. An operator will respond to the signal immediately and send the fire department.

How monitored smoke detectors protect your home:

  • They provide the best early warning fire protection.
  • Loved ones and pets are protected even when you are not home.
  • Once smoke is detected, a signal is immediately sent to the monitoring centre, which then notifies you and the fire department.
