Understanding Two-Way Voice

03/08/2010
When an intruder enters your home, the smoke detector, temperature, flood or carbon monoxide sensors go off, the operator establishes a live two way connection to your system. If you are home, you can communicate with the operator through your security system and they are able to hear what is happening in your home, so they can better assess what actions should be taken.

Why two-way voice?

Two-way voice is another way to increase the responsiveness of emergency personnel during an emergency. The quicker an operator can figure out what the situation is the sooner action can be taken. It's just another way for you to feel at ease in your home.
