Interlinked Virtual Monitoring Centres
Reliance Protectron began monitoring Canadians for personal medical emergencies in 1989. Since then it has developed and grown its security monitoring centres into one of the most technologically advanced monitoring stations in the country, protecting over 430,000 homes and businesses.
Our security monitoring centre combines the very latest in technology with a best-in-class training program for our operators. With 12 weeks of in-house training and practicum learning, operators learn to respond to emergency alarm situations and medical emergencies with precision and professionalism. In addition to this training, all of their operators become certified with the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and the Security Industry Association (SIA).
Multiple-monitor operator stations, integrated with leading edge response platforms, two-way voice technology and complete customer management systems, ensure that all of the information to handle the situation quickly and correctly is obtained for the operator. This high-end technology ensures a rapid response to any emergency.
Through their commitment to excellence, Reliance Protectron has built and operated their Security Monitoring Centres to meet the requirements of the Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (ULC).

Over the past few years, Reliance Protectron has invested millions of dollars developing and enhancing their security monitoring centres. Their national network of ULC-listed centres share the same operating software and are connected by a secure and dedicated communication line. This allows each centre to act as a back up in the event of a disaster or outage. Our security monitoring centre's credentials, technology and experienced personnel set them apart from others.
